We are living in profoundly challenging times. Even though it was expected, the world was been brought to a standstill by the news of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The hearts of all who love the earth and humanity call out for peace. I am reminded of the Vietnam war of my childhood. I feel the same pain in my soul and ache in my heart. It is hard to imagine how we will ever stop the greed and hunger for power that keeps us all imprisoned and in pain. We each must strike greed and hunger for power from our hearts and live as best we can with love for others each day.

The week begins with the Moon in the humanitarian sign of Aquarius. Even if we neglect to pay attention to world news, we feel the heartbeat of all who struggle to live in peace. 
 
The Aquarius Moon shows its unbiased nature as it highlights the current cultural and world challenges. The Moon forms a square aspect to Uranus this morning and joins with Saturn this evening, highlighting these issues. Understand that it is our responsibility to uphold the sanctity of human life. Give with an open hand to those in great need.
 
Focus your attention on intellectual ideas and innovations that support practical solutions. This is a day for planning not for taking action. Take yourself and others seriously today.  Be prepared to express your beliefs, knowing that your emotions do not need to run the show. As we build to the Pisces New Moon this afternoon this is a day of deep emotions and sensitivity. Pisces is a Mutable Water Sign suggesting tender emotions that are adaptable and willing to change.

The Moon is in Pisces today but the aspects from Mars and Venus to Pluto will overshadow anything looking like passivity. Focus your emotions on compassion.

Mars and Venus have been playing tag team for some time. Today is an important day in their ongoing dance as they each form a conjunction with Pluto shortly before leaving Aquarius behind. 
 
Mars makes direct contact with Pluto at 3:43 AM EST. Venus makes direct contact with Pluto at 12:56 PM EST. 
 
With this conjunction, Mars begins a new cycle of taking matters into one’s own hands and exercising considerable power. You may feel great restlessness that is clearly not yours alone but a reflection of forces outside of yourself. This is a good time to meet obstacles with tenacity and strength. Make sure you are not going to extremes, fighting the wrong battles, or losing sight of the impact of your actions. We hope that Venus will soften any extremes and keep us focused on our truest humanitarian values. Expect unusual intensity in all things today.
 
At 7:53 PM EST, the Moon enters Aries. You may feel your blood heating up and will need to find ways to let off steam over the coming few days. Just as it is time to settle down after a long day you find yourself revved up and ready for action. Go for a late evening run or engage your partner in a passionate interlude before sleep.

While you slept early this morning there was a great deal of activity in the cosmos. At 3 AM EST, the Moon entered Taurus. This will calm our nervous system for the next few days. 
 
Mars and Venus, hand in hand entered Aquarius in the very early hours of the morning as well. As they entered Aquarius they conjuncted, reflecting high emotions, desires, and assertiveness. You are ready to take action to fulfill those desires. Pay attention to your motives and what you are willing to do to get what you desire.
 
Venus remains in Aquarius until April 5th. During this time you will be drawn to more unusual and intellectually based values, desires, and relationships. Personal space and independence are standards and beliefs you are willing to go to bat for. Creativity is stimulated by an objective understanding of humanitarian values.
 
Mars will remain in Aquarius until April 14th. You can expect to be driven by impersonal desires and seek unconventional methods to fulfill them. You will be more likely to take action on issues that move you from a humanitarian and intellectual perspective.
 
Venus and Mars have been traveling hand in hand since early February. This is not a common occurrence. After this conjunction, Venus will pull ahead of Mars not overtaking them again until February 2024.
