With the Moon in Virgo think about what you can do to make a practical difference in the lives of others. Jupiter is always looking to the distant horizon and loves to travel. Mercury also loves travel but is more interested in jaunts that will keep you close to home. Perhaps it would be advantageous to go on a brief road trip while planing a more extensive bit of travel. Open your mind to new ideas and broaden your perspectives.

This is where you will experience these energies joining together. When any two planets come together in conjunction it is the beginning of a cycle. Think of this as the beginning of a dramatic, playful dance. Venus is the planet that speaks to your personal values of love and connection. Mars speaks to your need to assertively take action. You will want to take action on building connections. You may find yourself beginning or deepening a flirtatious or romantic encounter.

Take direct action toward your desire, make sure your integrity is highly polished, and you pay close attention to the desires of others. HOW CAN YOU HELP?

The downside of Virgo may need to be managed today. Curb the tendency to be critical of yourself or others. Do your best to replace the critical tone in your voice with a softer edge.

To help with that bring your attention to helping others. Virgo, ruled by Mercury is the sign of the servant and asks that you find ways to be helpful to others. The sign of Aquarius asks that we help all of humanity, whereas Virgo asks that we help in a more ordinary practical way closer to home. Do you have an elderly neighbor who could use a hand raking the yard or carrying groceries indoors?

Your heart will swell with gratitude and you realize how amazing it feels to be useful. When the Moon is in Virgo there is nothing that will make you feel better than knowing you have made someone else’s day a little easier or a little brighter.
