Ha! Not really dressed for this cold cold wind!
I apologize for the post going out late this week. I normally write on Saturday but last week brought many surprises, the best of which is what kept me from writing yesterday. My daughter and granddaughter came for an unplanned 4-day visit! What a treat. Having such uninterrupted time with the two of them was so dear and we had a wonderful time.
We searched out lighthouses, walked on cold windy beaches, explored thrift stores, and were inspired by art supply stores. We went to the indoor farmers market and A & E spent hours in the family room playing foosball while I watched and rested in a beanbag. We went out to dinner one night and cooked up a storm on others. All in all the visit was a grand success. Oh, we also played endlessly with my cat! I am so grateful that each of us made the effort necessary for a last-minute visit to work.
The most difficult thing about moving last summer was my concern about not seeing A & E enough. Yet if I still lived in Vermont we wouldn’t spend such an extended time together. I look forward to doing it again in the not-too-distant future.
This was the perfect surprise for my life just as the planets were shifting so dynamically. What big surprise, change, or new responsibility occurred in your life last week?

The Gemini Moon has kept us restless over the past few days. At 6:22 AM ET that restlessness gives way to sensitivity as the Moon enters Cancer. This weekend has brought us a wonderful setup. Yesterday’s Leo moon gave us time to play and have fun and today at 6:58 AM ET, the moon enters Virgo giving us a day to organize and prepare for the week ahead.
