The Daily Forecasts: Monday, April 13 through Sunday, April 19, 2026

The week begins with Mars conjunct Neptune in the early hours of Monday morning. Mars represents our ability to take action and to go after what we want. Neptune represents the energy that dissolves what is solid. When these two meet, the drive to act runs into something that may feel confusing and unclear. This suggests a time when the usual ways of moving forward do not apply, and something subtler is asked of you. This conjunction opens the week, and its influence colors everything that follows until Mars joins with Saturn on Sunday. That closing conjunction is the week’s anchor. When Mars encounters Saturn, our actions require effort even in the face of resistance. The arc from Monday to Sunday moves from dissolution to definition. Woven through the week are four sextiles. We can be tempted to ignore Sextiles, but these are aspects of opportunity. They do not deliver anything on their own, but they open a door. Each one is worth actively working with.

The Sun enters Taurus on Sunday evening, moving us from the initiating fire of Aries into the fixed earth of Taurus. This is not a minor ingress. It marks the shift from spring’s beginning into spring’s fullness, from what we are starting into what we are building and tending. It is the week’s culmination.

Monday, April 13, 2026: Mars conjunct Neptune | Venus sextile Jupiter | Moon enters Pisces

Mars and Neptune come together in Aries at 1:30 am EDT. Mars represents our ability to take action and go after what we want, while Neptune represents the energy that dissolves what is solid. In Aries, Mars wants to move directly and without hesitation, but Neptune blurs the target. You may wake Monday morning uncertain about what you actually want, or unsure whether what you want is worth the effort it requires to get it. Take time to rest in the uncertainty. From that place, you may learn something that will support later action.

Venus sextiles Jupiter at 4:20 am EDT. This is the first of four sextiles this week, and it arrives as a small opening after the blurring effect of the Mars-Neptune conjunction. Something expands, allowing more pleasure, connection, or abundance. Notice what it is and take the step toward it.

Today’s Pisces Moon brings with it the emotional need to soften and merge with something larger than the demands of daily life. In practice, this shows up as a pull toward rest, toward music or water, or simply being somewhere that allows you to rest fully.

  • What do you actually want right now, separate from what you think you should want?
  • Where are you pushing forward out of habit rather than genuine desire?
  • Do one thing today with no agenda attached to it.

Tuesday, April 14, 2026: Mercury sextile Uranus | Mercury enters Aries | Moon in Pisces

Mercury sextiles Uranus at 1:10 pm EDT. This is the second sextile of the week, and it opens a channel for unexpected thinking. Mercury governs how we think and communicate, while Uranus disrupts established patterns and opens new ones. Something you hear or read today may shift your perspective in a way you did not anticipate. Pay attention to what comes to you in the early afternoon.

Mercury enters Aries at 11:21 pm EDT. Mercury has been moving through Pisces, where thinking tends to be impressionistic and difficult to pin down. In Aries, the mind heats up and moves faster. You may notice a new directness in how you want to speak and what you want to say. Mercury will join with Neptune on Thursday, so we do not yet have the whole picture.

The Moon continues through Pisces today, carrying the same emotional need from Monday, the pull toward softening and rest. Pay attention to your heart’s desire for rest a little longer before the Moon moves into Aries on Wednesday. That will pick up the pace.

  • What unexpected thought or piece of information arrives today, and what does it change?
  • Write down one thing you have been wanting to say but have not yet said.

Wednesday, April 15, 2026: Moon enters Aries

The Moon enters Aries at 10:03 am EDT. The Aries Moon’s emotional need is to act, to initiate, and to move forward on its own terms. This may show up as restlessness, a low tolerance for waiting, and an impulse toward beginning. After two days with the Moon in Pisces, this shift into Aries can feel like waking up. You may feel a push toward emotional ignition.

The Mars-Neptune conjunction from Monday is still within range. As the Moon moves through Aries today, it will cross that same degree, and you may find Monday’s uncertainty returning, this time with more emotional impatience behind it. The question worth sitting with is whether the urge to act is coming from genuine readiness or simply from wanting the uncertainty to be over.

  • What have you been waiting to start?
  • Is the urge to act coming from readiness or from impatience with not knowing?
  • Take one concrete step toward something you have been postponing.

Thursday, April 16, 2026: Sun conjunct Chiron |Mars sextile Pluto |Mercury conjunct Neptune | Moon in Aries

The Sun joins Chiron at 11:10 am EDT in Aries. Chiron represents a deep wound that cannot be healed, but is a great teacher. When the Sun meets Chiron, something tender and vulnerable becomes visible. This likely involves something related to the right to take up space and to act on your own behalf without justification. Pay attention to anything tender or vulnerable that surfaces this morning.

Mars sextiles Pluto at 2:55 pm EDT. This is the third sextile of the week, and one of its more useful aspects. Mars represents our ability to take action and go after what we want, while Pluto governs what lies beneath the surface and asks for honesty about our true motivations. The sextile opens a channel between action and the power available. What you want and what it will cost you may become clear. After the tenderness of the Sun-Chiron conjunction this morning, this afternoon offers a shift into genuine agency.

Mercury joins Neptune at 10:01 pm EDT. Mercury entered Aries two days ago with a new directness and speed. Neptune blurs that. What you hear and what is said may not be the same thing tonight. This is not a good time for important conversations or final decisions. It is a better night for creative thinking and imaginative connections.

The Moon continues through Aries all day, adding emotional urgency to an already full day. Thursday carries the heaviest transit load of the week.

  • What came to the surface this morning that you have been reluctant to look at directly?
  • What do you want badly enough to pursue it honestly, without softening what it will require?
  • What are you hearing today beneath what is actually being said?

Friday, April 17, 2026:  Aries New Moon | Moon enters Taurus

At 7:51 am EDT, we come to the New Moon at 27 degrees Aries. This brings us to the end of one lunar cycle and the beginning of another. This is the time to plant the seed for the new cycle. With the new Moon in Aries, the seed to plant is one of initiation; a seed intended for powerful action on your own behalf without waiting for conditions to be perfect. This New Moon begins two cycles; the first will grow to its illumination at the Full Moon in two weeks; the second, longer cycle will be fully developed at the Aries Full Moon on September 26th. The fact that this falls at a late degree of the sign suggests even more urgency than Aries already suggests. There is a sense that the time for preparation has passed, and what is needed now is the willingness to commit to a direction. Look at the house that holds Aries in your natal chart. That is the area of your life where this seed wants to take root.

The Moon enters Taurus at 11:57 am EDT, shifting the emotional atmosphere from Aries into Taurus. The Taurus Moon’s emotional need is for grounding and the pleasures of the body. You may need to slow down this afternoon and feel the weight of something solid that will support you. Take this as an invitation to rest in what is right in front of you.

  • What are you ready to begin that you have not permitted yourself to start?
  • What does your body need today that you have been putting off?
  • What would you begin today if you trusted that the timing was right?

Saturday, April 18, 2026: Mercury sextile Pluto | Moon in Taurus

Mercury sextiles Pluto at 4:01 pm EDT. This is the fourth and final sextile of the week. Mercury is now in Aries, and our minds are moving fast. Pluto governs what lies beneath the surface of things, the motivations and hidden issues that do not always make it into ordinary conversation. To understand the possibilities of this transit, it helps to know where we are in the cycle between these two planets. Mercury moves quickly and meets Pluto several times a year, but each conjunction begins a new cycle of deeply profound thought. This sextile offers a chance to speak up about something and say what needs to be said. The channel between voice and depth is open. A conversation you have been struggling with or avoiding is ready now. What you say or write today has more reach than you may expect.

The Moon continues through Taurus, and the body and the senses remain the most reliable guides available. The Taurus Moon asks you to notice what actually feels solid in your life right now, not what you hope will become solid, but what is already supporting you. During the Taurus Moon you can be deeply attentive to what is present and worth protecting.

  • What conversation have you been avoiding that is ready for your full honesty?
  • What do you know about a situation that you have not yet said aloud?
  • Write it down, even if only for yourself.

Sunday, April 19, 2026: Moon enters Gemini | Mars conjunct Saturn | Sun enters Taurus

Long before the Sun enters Taurus today, the Moon enters Gemini at 12:17 pm EDT. The Gemini Moon’s emotional need is to connect with others and to move between ideas and people with curiosity.

At 6:43 pm EDT, Mars joins with Saturn, ending a cycle that began with their last conjunction in April 2024. Think back to what began at that time regarding the mature use of your most direct and assertive energy. That cycle is now complete, and your job is to begin a new one. This occurs in Aries, so look to the house that holds Aries in your natal chart for greater understanding of this process. Beyond the first rush of enthusiasm, what can you commit to that you also have the capacity for over the long term? You must think clearly and honestly about your desires and abilities over the long term.

At 9:39 pm EDT, the Sun enters Taurus, bringing us to the middle, most stable part of the season. Now, spring comes into full embodiment. We will finally feel the full warmth of the sun on our skin. We no longer have to wait. With the Sun now in this fixed earth sign, the center of gravity shifts from what we have been initiating to what we must carefully tend. Taurus is ruled by Venus, and Venus is also in Taurus, which is the sign she rules. That combination gives this ingress a particular richness. Venus in her home sign is fully herself, oriented toward beauty that endures and toward the kind of pleasure that does not require justification. The Sun entering Taurus illuminates everything Venus has been tending. Look at what you value and do what you can to align your life to actually reflect it.

  • What began for you in April 2024, that you are now ready to begin anew?
  • What would it look like to tend something in your life the way a garden requires, with patience and regular attention?
  • What are you ready to commit to that does not depend on how you feel about it on any given day?
