WEEKLY OVERVIEW

Unknown ca. 1738

This week begins with a call for clarity and quiet effort, as the Virgo Moon encourages practical refinement and emotional grounding. We move from order into balance midweek, with the Libra Moon ushering in the First Quarter phase. This marks a natural turning point in the lunar cycle and asks us to take thoughtful action on what was initiated at the New Moon on June 25. If the vision was planted last week, this is the time to adjust and begin shaping it into form.

The second half of the week brings deeper change. On Friday, the Moon’s entrance into Scorpio sharpens emotional awareness, and a conjunction between Venus and Uranus begins a new cycle in how we relate to value, love, and authenticity. This is about breaking free from outdated expectations and embracing something more genuine and honest. Venus then enters Gemini, shifting relational dynamics from steadiness to curiosity. That same evening, Neptune stations retrograde, initiating a longer process of dissolving false notions about identity and direction.

By Sunday, a supportive pattern between Venus, Saturn, and Neptune allows for meaningful commitment while maintaining our vision. The week closes with the Moon moving into Sagittarius, reminding us to look ahead with clarity and perspective.

PRACTICAL IMPROVEMENT – Monday, June 30, 2025

The Moon in Virgo brings attention to the practical parts of life that need care. This could be your desk, your sleep schedule, your tone in conversation, or the way you’ve been managing time. Virgo can push too hard toward perfection, but what it offers is the ability to improve what’s already working. Focus on small adjustments. Keep it honest and useful.

Bring your attention to the tasks that support daily life. Reorganize the pile on the table. Respond to the message you’ve been avoiding. Fix something in your routine that has started to slow you down. Choose one thing, and follow it through. Let that be enough.

  • What part of my environment needs to reflect the clarity I’m seeking internally?
  • Where am I demanding too much precision instead of offering more care?
  • What task, if done with attention, could bring me back to myself?

SHIFTING ATTENTION – Tuesday, July 1, 2025

The Moon continues in Virgo through most of the day. This carries forward yesterday’s attention to routine, detail, and practical effort. If something small was left undone, or if the day got away from you, there is still time to return to what needs a steady hand. Virgo can keep the mind sharp, but it can also heighten worry. If you catch yourself spinning, step away from the thought and return to action. Keep your hands moving. Keep your tasks small.

At 5:17 PM Eastern, the Moon moves into Libra. The emotional tone shifts from correction to connection. This is a good evening for spending time with someone whose presence calms you. If a conversation has felt strained, tonight may offer an easier entry point. Libra encourages us to take others into account without abandoning ourselves. Bring some lightness into your space. Change the atmosphere if it’s become too rigid.

  • What task can I accomplish that will help me feel more capable?
  • Where have I been overly focused on something that isn’t working?
  • What conversation or action this evening will help ease a relationship dynamic?

FOLLOW THROUGH – Wednesday, July 2, 2025

Today’s Libra Moon reaches its First Quarter phase at 3:30 pm EDT at 11 degrees. This marks the halfway point between the New Moon and the Full Moon. The intention, goal, or metaphorical seed you planted on June 25 needs your attention now. Whether you began a habit, started a conversation, or committed to a change, today is the point in the cycle when pressure builds and action becomes necessary.

Libra brings attention to how we engage with others. If something in a relationship has been left unattended or unsettled, take a practical step to address it. If you have been waiting for the perfect time to act, it may not come. Make the call, ask the question, or take one step in the direction you chose at last week’s New Moon. This is a day for thoughtful effort. Avoiding discomfort will not support your movement forward.

  • What can I do today to support the growth of what I began at the New Moon?
  • Where have I been putting off a decision that needs to be made?
  • What conversation or choice would help bring a situation into better alignment?

BALANCED PARTNERSHIPS – Thursday, July 3, 2025

The Moon continues through Libra today, keeping us focused on how we maintain connection and mutual respect with the people in our lives. If there’s been tension in a relationship or a lingering misunderstanding, today supports care and repair. Take one clear step toward restoring balance. That could mean following up on a conversation, kindly re-establishing a boundary, or simply acknowledging the other person’s perspective.

Libra is also responsive to the visual experience of our environment. If something feels off, make a small adjustment. This might mean changing the lighting, rearranging a few objects, or placing something beautiful where your attention tends to land. A well-composed environment can support clearer interactions by reducing distraction. When your surroundings are considered and attended to, it becomes easier to respond to others with thoughtfulness.

  • What relationship dynamic feels out of balance and needs my attention today?
  • How can I bring more fairness into my interactions with others?
  • What can I bring into my environment to create a stronger sense of visual beauty and harmony?

CHANGING TIDES – Friday, July 4, 2025

The Moon enters Scorpio early this morning at 5:32 AM Eastern. This sign turns our emotional attention toward what has been concealed or overlooked. You may notice yourself becoming more guarded, more focused, or more interested in what is beneath the surface of daily interactions.

At 8:44 AM, Venus forms a conjunction with Uranus at 29 degrees of Taurus. This begins a new cycle in how you relate to love, beauty, pleasure, and personal values. Conjunctions at the final degree of a sign often come with instability and urgency. In Taurus, the disruption may show up in relationships, finances, or personal values that have become too fixed or dependent on predictability. Wherever Taurus falls in your natal chart is the area of life where this cycle begins. Identify that house. This is where you’ll want to establish a new pattern, one that allows for more honesty, independence, and less attachment to control.

At 11:30 AM, just a few hours after the conjunction, Venus enters Gemini. The shift is noticeable. What was tense or static earlier steps into motion. Venus in Gemini brings variety, curiosity, and conversation. This transition brings forth what the conjunction between Venus and Uranus started. Instead of holding onto one fixed idea of what should happen or how things should be, you’re being asked to remain flexible and open to change. Relationships, preferences, and plans are in motion. Expect them to shift in form or direction. That shift is already underway, with or without your input.

At 5:33 PM, Neptune stations retrograde at 2 degrees of Aries. When Neptune turns, it begins to erode what has been held together by fantasy or avoidance. Over the coming weeks, you may find yourself questioning a story you’ve been telling about your purpose, your identity, or your role. That story may no longer hold up against your real-life experience. Pay attention to what begins to lose its grip. There is clarity in watching something fall apart without rushing to replace it.

  • Where in my natal chart does Taurus fall, and what part of life is being restructured there?
  • What relationship or attachment has become too rigid to support ongoing growth?
  • What belief or ideal is starting to weaken under closer attention?

UNDER THE SURFACE – Saturday, July 5, 2025

The Moon moves through Scorpio today, directing emotional attention toward what has been avoided or left unresolved. You may be less drawn to conversation and more aware of what is difficult to say out loud. Scorpio supports emotional honesty, especially the kind that doesn’t require an audience. If something has been building internally, give it your full attention and explore its depth until the pressure eases.

Work with something specific. That might be resentment, jealousy, fear, or suspicion. These are not easy emotions, but they point to what needs our attention. Ignoring them won’t make them go away. If they are shaping your behavior, you need to deepen your understanding and manage your responses. Limit distractions so you can pay attention to the deep emotions building beneath the surface.

  • What emotions have been hidden that now need my attention?
  • Where in my life do I need more emotional privacy or protection?
  • Where in my life am I being asked to let go of appearances and be more direct?

STEADY GROUND – Sunday, July 6, 2025

Venus forms a sextile to Saturn at 4:42 AM Eastern. This offers a stabilizing influence to relationships, creative work, and financial decisions. The focus is on consistency and long-term value. If you’ve been working toward something that requires endurance, this is a good day to return to it with renewed attention. Quiet, steady effort will be more effective than starting something new.

At 10:46 AM, Venus forms a sextile to Neptune. This combination supports wonder, imagination, and the ability to understand uncertainty without needing immediate answers. It’s a good day to spend time with music, art, or the natural world. A walk in nature will help restore perspective and engage your imagination. If something in your life has become too defined or overly practical, this transit will allow spaciousness.

At 6:06 PM, the Moon enters Sagittarius. After two days in Scorpio, this change brings fresh emotional clarity. You may be more interested in exploring ideas or making plans for the future. This Moon favors exploration and variety. Read something that stretches your thinking in new directions or take time to step outside your usual routine.

  • What long-term effort needs my continued attention today?
  • Where in my life do I need to allow more wonder or imagination?
  • What would help me take a wider view of something I’ve been too narrowly focused on?
