Monday morning brings the Moon into Libra with an air grand trine forming between the Moon, the Sun, Uranus, and Pluto.
What the Sun and Uranus woke us up to last week finds its purpose and flow now. The ease of that flow will not be left unchallenged as Mars forms a square aspect to Pluto on Tuesday.
Later in the week, with the Moon in Scorpio, Venus meets Saturn in the first waxing square since their conjunction in early March. The cycle between Saturn and Venus is for the purpose of stabilizing your values and connections with others. Whatever began in March now requires your attention and effort.

The Moon moves into Libra at 10:34 am EDT, and our emotional needs shift toward balance and genuine connection with others. When the Moon is in Libra, notice how your attention moves toward the people in your life and the quality of the conversations you have with them. We are looking for harmony in our relationships and beauty in our immediate environment.
As the Moon continues through Libra, it forms a grand trine configuration with the Sun, Uranus, and Pluto. All are in air signs. This brings us to the start of the week, when our thought processes and conversations flow quickly and easily. You may find yourself making connections that you were not previously aware of. You may suddenly understand the deeper structures of collective and individual thinking. With the Moon stepping into that existing conversation, it shows us the personal impact. What felt electric and sudden on Friday, with the Sun conjunct Uranus, has gained traction and awareness. The mind is in motion. Listen to the conversations you encounter.
One note as the day comes to an end. At just past midnight tonight, Mars in Taurus will form a square to Pluto, and that tension will be building throughout today. Tuesday, May 27, 2026: Mars Square Pluto | Moon in Libra | Sun Trine Pluto
The square aspect formed between Mars and Pluto at 12:02 am EDT carries its weight firmly into today. With Mars and Pluto in direct conflict, resistance meets an immovable force. Pay attention to any power struggles that have been building beneath the surface, as they are demanding your attention now. What have you been suppressing for too long? Where have you felt pressure that has not had a clear outlet? Make adjustments judiciously, careful not to upset the applecart.
The Moon continues moving through Libra, and your emotional needs are still oriented toward balance and harmony. That is not easy to maintain on a day carrying this much Plutonian weight. The Libra Moon is not naive about conflict, but it does understand that not every confrontation needs to be met head-on, and that is important today.
At 11:52 am EDT, the Sun in Gemini forms a trine to Pluto. This will shift the quality of the day without lifting any of the tension. Where Mars and Pluto in a square produce resistance and friction, the Sun and Pluto in a trine open a channel of direct and unobstructed power. The Moon continues moving through Libra today, and after the intensity of yesterday, the emotional need for balance and harmony offers a day to let things settle. The conversations and realizations of the past two days have been substantial, and today offers a quieter time in which to absorb them.
We are moving through the waxing gibbous phase of the lunar cycle, building toward Sunday’s Sagittarius Full Moon. This is the phase where what was planted at the Taurus New Moon two weeks ago is gathering toward its ultimate illumination. The seed is no longer invisible. Something is visibly growing, and the days between now and Sunday are part of that accumulation. With the Moon now in Scorpio, your emotional needs move beneath the surface and into deeply hidden territory. When the Moon is in Scorpio, we are not interested in appearances or ease. We want to know what is actually true, and are ready to push through whatever stands between us and that understanding. In practical terms, this looks like a day when your feelings run deeper than usual, and any surface explanations are insufficient.
This quality makes today a fitting day for the Venus square Saturn that we are building toward throughout the day. On March 8th, Venus and Saturn formed a conjunction in early Aries. This began a cycle between them around what we value and what love and commitment require of us in practical terms. A conjunction is always the seed moment of a cycle, and what began in early March has been developing since then. Tonight at 11:02 pm EDT, Venus in Cancer and Saturn in Aries reach their first waxing square. This brings us to the initial test of what that conjunction set in motion.
A waxing square is the point in a cycle where our plans meet resistance for the first time. We must ask ourselves if we are willing to make the effort required for the continued growth of that cycle. Venus in Cancer wants to protect and nurture what it loves. Saturn in Aries demands honesty and is not interested in comfort for its own sake. Any issues of love or personal value that arise today and tomorrow must be taken seriously. What has grown from that seed has gained enough visibility to see its shape.
The longer cycle reaches back to the Sagittarius New Moon on December 19th, 2025. That was the seed moment for everything this Full Moon is now bringing to fullness.
